Overseas Australians delayed from returning as Singapore bans flights from the UK

Singapore is adding itself to a long list of countries banning flights to the UK after the mutated strand of COVID-19 was detected.

Singapore has been one of the main transit hubs for the limited number of flights into Australia.

The only other way into Australia is through transiting via the Middle East.

Singapore will not even allow transit through their airport.

This decision by Singapore has thrown the plans of many in the UK into disarray as it throws yet another setback to overseas Australians trying to return home.
